I'm only doing Dragon Lord bosses, which one of these two skills would be more useful on those bosses?

Smoke Bomb - reducing 1083 defense
Expose Weakness - reducing 1584 evasions

Which one should I pick? / which one would make a bigger difference?

Expose would definitely be better, dragonlord bosses die very quickly and you arent getting all that many autos in for smoke bomb to be all that useful

Don’t use a skill that increases the amount of autos you but because you aren’t hitting enough autos. Thanks Pal.

And why does the speed at which a boss die change whether smoke or expose is the most effective skill?

Smoke needs to be re-cast every 20 seconds, expose lasts much longer.

In general, expose is more useful because it helps skills to land more often, helping all classes, while smoke only helps melee.

If someone else usually has expose at a boss tho, then can be worth it to use smoke.

Expose, it’s more effective on dl, doesn’t require as many casts and helps bolas land.

Debatable, but I'll side with expose.

But if you are willing to use one of those skills why not use both? May as well if you are going the support route.
