Personal experience is much more reliable than claims like "I know somebody who opened 800 chests and got no eggs."

Agreed... a dragon is not a cosmetic item.

Harder to come to terms with the claim of 800 chests opened and zero egg.

I sincerely hope the above does not however influence OTMs implementation of the pet or the means of obtaining it.

Perhaps revise the 'drop' rate of eggs from chests IF necessary.

The main problem imo is that there aren't any other ways to get this pet besides gambling with chests.

Which is no problem at all. Unless the supply of chests on any world is lacking.

Understandably we're going to kick at first against the new pet not being obtainable purely by the menial task of our daily bounties... We don't share the economic interests of the DEVs. We want a game that is customised to our needs. But Should we always throw our toys out of the cot when OTM makes...
