As far as I'm concerned, it's the continuation of a much larger conflict. This conflict has existed since the end of the alliance. Jah broke the ceasefire, but we certainly didn't start the war. Retribution's fear and dislike of competition is the main reason.

There have been countless conflicts over the years. More than one clan has been destroyed, and the problem that sparked these conflicts has yet to be solved.

Sulis is probably the most war torn server in this game. I would highly recommend choosing another server to move to, as kill-stealing, boss resetting and pretty much all other forms of griefing are daily occurrences here.
