They dont take extra money(ofc, the TVA will always charge you)..
If you buy plat worth of 10£ then you'll get double the platinum you used to get before x2 plat event

It will use up your itunes and the rest of the money will be charged to the credit apple on the account. At least that is how it works in murica.
