Beta time! This is BETA test for the Server Merge

When is the Beta test happening?

The Beta will run from today, the 29th of July, until Tuesday~4PM CET, during which you can log in anytime.

Please keep in mind that this is a Beta version and there might be changes based on your feedback and experience. Also, be aware that the testing environment is not as powerful as the live one.

What will be included in the Beta test?

Simply put, the more time you spend on the test servers and the more actions you perform, the better. It is very important to include screenshots or videos in your reports if necessary, and provide more steps on how you reached that bug or glitch

More specifically, here are some things that will be available for testing:

• Are all your characters present after the merge?
• Are character names intact, or have they changed (due to conflicts)?
• Is character progression (level, inventory, gear, achievements) correct?

• Has your clan been preserved correctly?
• Are clan names preserved or altered?
• Do social features like chat, whispers, and party invites work between formerly separate servers?

• Are your gold/currency balances correct?
• Did items listed on the auction house (AH) before the merge persist or disappear?
• Are there duplicate or missing listings?
• Is pricing stable, or does it look like a bug caused economic imbalances?
• Are there crashes, disconnections, or performance drops?
• Visit high-traffic zones to test lag.
• Use the AH, trade with others, and form parties across merged populations.
• You can try to create new characters and test leveling.

NOTE: All the current content is being developed continuously and has not been finalized.

How to sign up?

• Android

At the bottom of the Google Play Store page, you will see a button that will allow you to join the BETA program.You will be able to download the new client.

Note: For Android users, you can install the Beta version over the current live version of Celtic Heroes, but if you wish to go back to the live one, you will need to uninstall the Beta.

• iOS

You need to download the app TestFlight and use the invite link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/yBusR6Pk 

Note: For iOS users, in order to join the Beta Test, you do not need to uninstall the live version. You can just install the Testflight over the currently installed game and can also go back by just installing again the AppStore version over the Beta version.

IMPORTANT

• The server will have a version (snapshot) of the live server from the 24th of July, so you will be able to log in with your normal account credentials and play with your usual characters.

• What does this all mean? Well, that gives you the peace of mind that the tests won’t affect your live accounts as it will be just a COPY of the live database into the development environment.

• Please check if your account is linked to either Facebook, Game Center etc. If it’s not, please link it, otherwise, once you re-install the game, you may lose your progress!

• Please keep in mind that any accounts created on the testing server during Beta will ONLY be reflected/visible on that test server. No progression of any kind will be carried over to the live servers. Real money transactions will not be available!

• Please note that if you attempt to change your password through the Beta version of the game, your copied account won’t be accessible. If that happens to you, you can only play with a new account.

• Each account will have at its disposal 4000 Platinum, no matter how much the account had on the live servers

Going back to live version

If you would like to go back to the live version of the game, follow the steps below.

• Android

• Step 1: Open the Play Store.
• Step 2: At the top right, tap the profile icon.
• Step 3: Tap Manage apps & devices. Beta.
• Step 4: Find Celtic Heroes app
• Step 5: Tap the app to open its detail page.
• Step 5: Under “You're a beta tester," tap Leave. Leave.
• Step 6: Uninstall and re-install the app from the Play Store

• iOS

• Step 1: On your iOS device, tap the TestFlight app.
• Step 2: From the TestFlight dashboard, tap the Celtic Heroes
• Step 3: Click on the bottom of the menu, under Developer, the “Stop Testing” button
• Step 4: Install the live version of the game from the AppStore over the Beta version

Note: If the above steps do not work for you, please try to uninstall the game altogether and re-install it.
