Golden Axe of Carnage is pretty good in DPS. Don't get the bodkin, get the axe. The axe is far cheaper (80k i think, & bodkin is about 175k), more dmg +1. DO NOT get the bodkin for health and energy regen. If u have gold, heroice amulet of rejuv is WAY to go. Anyway, in boss fights, tanks are generally more useful then DPS, so if u r a tank, get the Mighty Crown Shield of Spirits. U can decide for yourself.

You forgot that Golden Axe of Carnage adds 50 attack, 20 health, and 20 energy. And Golden Bodkin of spirits adds 30 attack

WELL... the bodkin has a very small difference in damage... but not very much... so if you only need the regen from the bodkin (10), then you can get that and sell your heroic rejuv.... and get a charm that adds damage or resist... but ya to me carnage is like the same as bodkin just bodkin has rejuv so u gotta ask urself if 10 rejuv hp and mana is worth the extra 100k

Technicaly, For best dps, The Bodkin and any (Crush/Slash/Pierce) damage charm will grant more damage.

So why not the axe and a charm? Well this is why...
As a warrior, whether a tank or dps, you need energy. Tanks taunt and use protecrive stance while dps warriors use pummel, giant swing, and frenzy. The bodkin grants enough regen to keep up with energy and give a small healing bonus.
