Yea, the cloak seems to help keep the aggro. It also helps if the rogues keep distract on the boss and the warriors do not taunt.

Wow, I didn't think there would be this much discussion on this topic. It's been a while since I last posted, but I am lvl 82 waiting for the update so I can lvl up more. My new objective is to either make a nice warrior or rogue for battle since my clan seems to have few that are on actively.

Hey I've been reading alot and I just made a Mage not to long ago. He is only lvl 21 atm and I use a golden rejuv ammy. He has 25 focus but he never runs out. You guys say get 200+ focus. Do u not have rejuv ammy? And also should I get my dex up or no?

Now idk if it's becuz I'm low lvl so I don't run out of energy. But If u could reply, it will help.

At around that lvl, you won't have problems with casting magic. But ice shards is one of the most, if not the most, expensive spells to cast. I have a focus of 85 with a golden focus of rejuv, and an heroic ammy of rejuv. Before without that focus, my magic would run low if I casted shards too fast.

I prefer not putting any points towards dex, only because I'm going to get hit no matter what. Who knows though, I might experiment a little to show some support about having say 50-100 points of dex, and to having only 5 points of dex.

I use a 4 to 1 build. I am doing this from memory I believe my current stats are
STR 5
DEX 5
FOCUS 323
VITALITY 107

SKILLS
Cloak of Fire 15/15
Fire Bolt 15/15
Lure of Fire 15/15
Ice Shards 15/15
Lure of Ice 15/15
Energy Shield 10/10
Bandage Wounds 8/15 (I think... whatever my last 7 points are in a rarely use it)

Energy Well may be more useful than Lure of Ice, for a Focus/Vitality/Energy Shielding Mage such as yourself.

I have 180 dex and it works great. But that's not going to stay after the update

Just remember that I am not keeping nearly as much dex after the update.
