Recent Connection Issues

Hey folks,

We're aware of some issues with connecting to the servers over a non-wifi connection, resulting in an empty world list or a spinning icon at login time. This appears to be due to bad name resolution, as our old login server is still getting hits when it shouldn't be.

This likely means that your mobile operator hasn't updated their DNS servers yet. These normally take a few days to update, but can take longer on a case by case basis.

You can determine if this is the case by attempting to connect via wifi, or by connecting to a different mobile network.

Unfortunately, we have no control over this, as these servers are controlled by those mobile operators.

You can clear the device cache by following these guides:

Alternatively, if you are finding the issue occurs only on wifi, you can try to change your DNS settings, by following these guides:

We will continue looking into this, but let us know via the forums if this resolves or doesn't resolve the issue for you.

I would suggest changing DNS to or because it's Googles dns

Realized that you can only do that if you on wifi.. or unless you are jailbroken on ios

This is no longer recent issue , is been around 4 days now since this annoing issue with login happens . I don't know why people say is only on data because is on wifi aswell . Is no difference atall , when you can't log in you can't no matter if you are on data or on wifi. Please try to fix it somehow .

Still not able to log and Im only using wifi. It goes up and down every day. Fix this!

At this time it seems everyone in my clan cant log in Eternal Retribution on fingals.. so it's most likely not a device or Wi-Fi issue.. my clan covers Europe, middle East and North and South America... since our server chat app is running slow im assuming other clans are having the same issues...
