I believe that same geared rogues and rangers should have comparable dps. If a rogue has better gear than a ranger or vice-versa, obviously the better gear should be able to win out.

Logically, lets think about why pierce resistance would be higher than crushing resistance on a spider. If you see a spider on your kitchen floor what do you grab first to kill it? A. To go down one path means to forsake the other. If rogues kept their current skills and rangers lost bolas entangle light heal spike and made sharpen weapons only castable on yourself or a single person it would make sense for them to match rogue dps even with the benefit of ranged combat if rogues...

I have already outlined some (if not most) of ranger skill problems in my one ranger petition. I would gladly volunteer to be one of the rangers. I may prefer that we stay dex based, but I am willing to see some str based added too.

Unless you have opal or diamond bow, which are ... Better than meteoric. Get that adamant bow at 120 it rocks Correction.
