just a thought, build another tavern in High Shore. Make strictly for social interaction between servers. Or make a new tavern some where in Castle. I like the idea of being able to chat with other servers.

Having a global area that is not the castle won't work. People don't really go to the arena because there's no draw to it. If you create a new global area, or make the tavern global, you will actually do more damage because it will split the global social community into two areas. The castle is the perfect spot, and the only one that would work due to it already being the gathering spot, and having important things in it.

That's the same thing as saying folks wouldn't go to a specific area in the game for the purpose of socializing with people from other servers because they don't care enough about it to do it intentionally. I've read that opinion several times now. If that's true, and people don't want a global area enough to choose to go to it, then why should it be forced on everybody? That's ridiculous. That's making the vast majority of players frustrated, annoyed and inconvenienced for something no one would choose to do if they had a choice.
