On a serious note, the term soccer actually came from the British and the Americans adopted it while the British stopped using the term. Football was being played in many different forms way back then and so it basically split into 2 variants, rugby football (rugger for short, now rugby) and association football which then became soccer in Britain. So technically soccer is the correct term to use you ignorant Europeans and the British started it.

“Soccer is the correct term”

I can tell you “ignorant” Americans that Britain has used football for generations. It was adopted a long time ago and is the official name of the sport for Almost all of the world.

More on topic. The game is simply that. A game or a platform. What psychological things go on in the virtual environment does not effect that fact that Celtic heroes is still a game. Things happen on it but this suddenly doesn’t change solid fact.
