So atleast for the druid offhand, can the myrdins offhand inherit the edl chaos resist (eldritch boon) skill as well? I thought these offhands were meant as an upgrade of edl. Right now you would need to swap back and forth between edl for gelebron for example to cancel the chaos runes.

I won’t mention that you would also need to swap back and forth for mordy and necro, since otm stated that this update was meant for eg players to move away from those bosses( although bt last buff make your intentions seem controversial)

This tendency of not including previous key buffs or skills is really surprising. Anyone remembered when edl sets didn’t protect you from mordys fingals bane for example? I hope this error does not get ignored too long.

T8 offhands may not be a direct upgrade from edl, but t10 (max tier) MUST be an upgrade. The only way to find out is to kill BT i guess lo

Essentially the new offhand is not a "direct" upgrade to EDL. They are for a specific use case and means of progression for Bloodthorn.
We were looking into possibly doing a full upgrade to EDL in Corrupted Gardens, but with the factions content thought it would be better suited in a future release (next zone).

Then these offhands are nearly worthless and also extremely unbalanced.

Warrior offhand - lower dps, adds useless skills, in beta the offhand skill was useless and no one should have even casted it.
Mage offhand - other than the boost (firestorm should be changed to firebolt... balance...) the skill is worse for everything (necro especially)
Druid offhand - Heal is ok and dps is ok, the third one is useless in every aspect and when coming to gele and necro spirits u want edl offhand
Rogue offhand - only direct update which breaks all the balance and QS offhand skill OVERLAPS EDL RONDEL'S SPITE
Ranger offhand - barely an upgrade whatsoever. The skill is essentially the same, only its a burst potential but overall same dps (so no increase), and 500 dex which ppl will use as 500 attack and boost to sharpshot. Everything else is neglectable.

All Im seeing is - druid offhand will barely have any added effect. Mage offhand is worse. Warrior offhand is "good" only cus the former offhand was edl shield, but still terrible overall. Rogue offhand is decent. Ranger offhand is basically edl quiver with added dex.

20 toons? It wont cut down even 2 toons.

Correction mage offhand is better the skill added tic damage to the utterly useless edl oh skull however it’s not enough to make a large difference.

Firestorm was added because bolt is a broken overpowered skill and it was an attempt to balance the class it just may not suit you

However the damage is worse then low tier spider rings and the foc and ability additions are negligible so it is an upgrade yes, but not a large enough one to warrant cutting numbers from the requirement

As it is right now half the offhands are direct upgrades for almost everything and the other half are only for bloodthorn. I think it needs to be either all a direct upgrade or all specialised for bloodthorn or else there’s lots of complaints that their class offhand isn’t as big a buff or at all as others
