so ive started a mini spear rogue
stats ive already got down and know what im gonna do

skills are:
double strike
life steal

im wondering which of these other few are worth using:
Riposte
poison weapon
quickstrike
sneaky attack

im thinking that sneaky isnt so good because it can only be used once per battle
poison not as good because of slow wep
and i have no idea if quickstrike or riposte is good or not haha

any suggestions on my skills from the old veterans?

I'm no veteran, but sneaky cannot be used with spears, only daggers. Riposte is a great skill and I suggest you get shadowstrike because it is a fantastic skill.

decided to cut life steal and use:

double attack
riposte
quickstrike
shadowstrike

with rend and skewer at 1

With riposte, you can run into a mob of enemies and cast it. Enormous damage, effectively an area attack. But if your health/armor/defense isn't good enough, doing this is suicidal.

Leveling tip… Before lixing, attack 2-3 mobs and drop their health. Then pop your lix and cast riposte. This will give you several kills and only use a few seconds of your lix. Huge xp, but requires some tankiness.

This is a very good guide.
I just went on spear rogue and it's so fun, I can easily solo 3* mobs over 10 levels above me.

Spears are useless as unfathomable untill mordy spears. Even then a dark spear is fairly turd, but better than ancient wyrm dagger.
