My account got hacked and I believe everything was mailed to someone else or dropped. I logged in after I got an email saying my password was changed and everything was gone. I never told anyone my password before and my username and password had nothing to do with eachother... Please look into this and get me my stuff back, thanks.

1) you can't get hacked
2) means someone guessed your password and username
1234 is not a secure password
3) you should probably PM Muldar about this :p

Yea, you cant get hacked lol. Either someone guessed your info because it was way to simple or someone got onto your device and took your items. You got a brother that plays or a friend? I would check them out first if you do because back in like 2013 my brother went onto my device and sold all the lux I had spent hours farming for to the shop for half price. Was beyond pissed and made him pay me back lol.

I had a similar situation as GB15 happen to me. I kept my password saved so I didn't have to retype it and my son that was quite young at the time got onto my phone, logged one of my toons, dropped most of the gear, lux, and plat items and then ended up deleting it. I emailed support and they mostly restored everything after explaining the situation.

In the event of suspicious activity on your account or if you feel you have been hacked, change your password immediately.

Be advised that account sharing is against our usage policies and losses incurred during such periods will not be reimbursed.

Furthermore maintaining your account and items is a user’s responsibility as we are unable to return traded or lost items that appear as being conducted by you.

Please send an email to support@onethumbmobile.com with details of what has happened, including information to verify you as the original account owner such as the following:

username, characters on the account (inc levels), worlds, premium purchases, when the account was created, how much has been spend on the account, email address associated with the account and memorable items on the account.

Guessing someone's password isn't hacking

Guessing a password in some human doable number like 100 tries is not hacking, but it is unauthorized computer access and still illegal in most countries including the USA and Scotland. Using a computer to try a ridiculous number, say from the 1 million most commonly used passwords compiled into a database, is called a brute force attack and is most definately hacking.

Not always. I had my toon restored in under 24 hours and most of the missing items back 48 hours later

If someone with a super computer can brute force attack a CH account to guess both the username and password, they're spending their time and resources on the wrong place. Hack someone's bank account lol, its more profitable. If such hacks are possible, why not focus hacking high level accounts with Gele items?
