It could just be some 11 year old with no idea what that means who thunks the name sounds cool because quite frankly superior race could refer to a lot of things.

Because no one from that clan seemed to think there is a problem with that name.

Anyway i remved all the clan members from my friend list and do not group with them anymore.

I think you over reacted.... did you ask them what the clan name stands for? Unless they openly admitted as to what they intended the name to stand for, you have no proof to accuse them of making such a reference.....

True, but I still understand why he is angry, it is pretty offensive to some people...

I've seen worse clan names, and even worse user names.

If you're offended just ignore them.

This is nothing compared to what I experienced.

The "superior race" was hitlers utopia but he also got the idea from other places, it's only well more documented within history hence your google research findings.

Some of the Romans also had a belief about superior race, true bloods, pure bloods was there way etc etc
I would say its more about selection than racism, hitlers idea was fascist and racist as well as evil but that isn't what i believe this clans name intention was.
They just want to believe the toons within it are superiour imo
