Whats the best ways for me to level up and get gold? I currently have a bear, 10 tick energy regen, ancient plate armor, and ancient handaxe. Also is there anything I could buy to make myself better

The best way for you to currently lvl is doing the main Questline, you should be close to done with shalemont area and being moving into stonevale.
As for gear to better yourself, if you aren't having problems with what you currently are using then there is no need to worry.

Yes, doing main quest line is the best way for you now to level up and making golds
