Looking for current knowledge-advice on rogue spearbuilds.
Through older research i read: go heavy strength. Mix in DA. No qs or assasinate.

Good for auto-attack and dps.

Assassinate is a terrible skill no matter what weapon youre using, but never drop qs for any dps/lixing build. Spears are ok assuming you dont have access to a dl or edl mainhand yet and getting necro weapon ability rings for one is considerably easier than getting them for a dagger. If youre bossing with the spear, put a dagger swap on your hotbar so you dont have to drop sneaky attack. As for stats, you can get more dmg out of str because of the much higher pierce, but its a spear. You arent going to get all that many kills so just add points to whatever you prefer.

I was a spear rogue for quite a while, for me I used QS ss double rend and assassinate, as toothpick said you're better of going majority str but it depends if you're using it to boss or lvl

Am a 172 rogue and have 125 points in str, 310 in vit and the rest in dex (about 340-350?). Looking for a good stat setup for a lvling spear rogue, can anyone help me?
Also I use double, ss, qs, riposte and life steal
