+1000000000Mordy or necro most the time ranger gets kill. But honestly it's not who gets the kill that matters it is that's said boss died. The true issue is the horrid loot table
Re: Serious Question to Endgame "DEX" Rangers
#42But my question is has he played one? No as he previously stated he hasn't so i don't care how much he knows he's never played a ranger and thats thatMamba is actually very educated on all classes and knows more then most rangers so i would say he is in a position to make suggestions and you should keep your personal issues against him for whatever reason they are in privateYou are just a dirty mage who hasn't even played a ranger you are no position to make suggestionsYou're a nobody, get off all sections

Re: Serious Question to Endgame "DEX" Rangers
#43Well, Truehatred, you're certainly showing your namesake. Props to that. While I am unfamiliar with mamba besides the fact that they believe their 205 Mage has a chance vs my ranger, which is fine and wonderfully hubris. the reality is, judging by what I read on these forums and peoples perception on what makes a good ranger, I'd say it's likely mamba could know a lot more than some of these people who really are removed from things like logic and sense.
Re: Serious Question to Endgame "DEX" Rangers
#44He may know a lot but all I'm saying is he hasn't played a ranger so i don't think he should be able to put input on builds when he has no experience with the class whatsoeverWell, Truehatred, you're certainly showing your namesake. Re: Serious Question to Endgame "DEX" Rangers
#45I looked through the post trying to find what your thoughts were on the topic, Truehatred. Not meaning to sound as if I call your credentials into question, but what lvl are you? What experience do you have with str and/or dex build? Do you dabble with skills, or just auto all the way ? Personally, I don't think sharp or long is good enough to make it worth dropping either entangle or bolas I happen to like those skills. My build allows me to be quite good at solo and 'support' in that entangle helps the tank and Druid. If only I could hold aggro... I'd love to tank! But we have Plenty of reputable warriors in my clan guild so likely never.
Re: Serious Question to Endgame "DEX" Rangers
#46I had a ranger at 95 and another at 120 I've tried both builds and overall i find str to be a better soloing build and i have more hp since i don't have to worry about mana because i only use 2 skills i have to recast constantly also i have another 53 thats still here and somewhat active overall i find str betterI looked through the post trying to find what your thoughts were on the topic, Truehatred. #47Wait, wait. You have a level 120 ranger, and you're questioning someone on an endgame ranger thread?

Re: Serious Question to Endgame "DEX" Rangers
#50I don't need to own a ranger to understand how they work. Having played the game at a high level for this long, while having enough common sense to understand how the game works, in addition to frequenting other worlds/betas to talk to high levels about their builds; I think it is safe to say that I am in a position to give beneficial advice to almost all players of any class. He may know a lot but all I'm saying is he hasn't played a ranger so i don't think he should be able to put input on builds when he has no experience with the class whatsoever
I am positive that if given an average geared 200+ toon of any class, owned by the average player, I would manage to find a way to make it better without using rarer gear.
Not trying to turn this into a brag thread (and this is directed towards truehatred) but...I have gotten 3 hrungnir kills as a dps druid. I have gotten a hrungnir kill as a full vit mage against hasted edl bow rangers. I have soloed boggan 5*'s with a full focus build without using any pots. I got skain 6* kills as a level 206. I have yet to lose on any 5/6* 210 from current event
I'd list more, but I think this demonstrates my competence in this game in general. I'd like to hear truehatred give his expertise on any class, or explain why he thinks I'm not allowed to simply ask a question in this thread just because my main is a mage lol
