I'm not quite as optimistic as dark but I don't think rangers are as bad as some have made them out to be. I think a bit of skills tweaking and fix the speed decline due to animations and it would make all the difference in the world.

I'm lvl 179, 180 today at some point.

So basically suffer 190+ levels and months/years of waiting to get end game gear and be decent.

In my world you'd be waiting ages for any necro weapon. Considering they don't exist.
