So I have been casting lure of fire which is maxed then firebolt and firestorm at one point fire bolt does 3.5k then next hit it dies 5k... with firestorm I hit 5k first time next time 8k it's always randome what's up with that

I noticed the same with my Shards. First hit is mostly around 8k, then my second Shards is 10k+.

Its just random I guess.

Yep. Just like I can hit a 6k bolt and then a 2700 bolt next. Skills and auto dmg is always messed up

Without any resistance (if your lure is high enough), your damage will still fluctuate from like 50-100% of your max damage, and it sucks.
