Did last nights reset undo loot drop inprovement?

For a week there the community was reporting gele was dropping weapons every drop. It was amazing. This morning after reset we killed gele. We got fodder drops

What happened?

Its been one kill lol. Trying to get a larger sample size before making a post of this nature is important before trying to make assumptions. But it was confirmed that weapon drops arent guaranteed, just more likely

The 61 Bloodthorn kills without a helmet drop a big enough sample? It has been for the people that pmed me today feeling like they are shafted and misled by VR

This is a result of not announcing what changes are being made. Other games I’ve played are transparent with adjustments. Example:

Patch notes:

- Decreased blood thorn hitpoints by 2%.
- increased chance of helmet drop from .000000001% to .0001%
- increased wearing drop rate on gelebron from 5% to 15%

Specific notes go a long way to helping the player base to keep their imagination in check.

Not entirely related to just gear in my opinion. Specific patch notes for anything on any reset should be relayed back to us. Like so we don’t continously wonder when the lag in large areas comes about when we die will stop happening.

No, the reset yesterday did not affect drop rates or any monsters in the game.

Nah we all just wanna see a 100 kills no helm thread so that should sum up why helms aren't dropping.
