I've signed up couple days ago. I have seen many players post screenshots of the new gameplay footage. I was wondering how did they get the beta? How do i join the testers?

It sounds like you signed up after they sent out all the invitations. VR might be able to get you in on Monday, or else they may wait until the next phase of the beta(likely to be mid-end of next week is my guess, they need a few days to fix all reported bugs, and maybe even longer to change the UI more).
