Just in case VR is still confused: Boost the helm drop rate

For dps classes, the helm is not as big of an upgrade over DG as the team is making it out to be. A DG helm is guaranteed in 1-2 weeks from farming Gele.

Day 151:

Generals Log Supplemental:

Today is a day we do not have to worry about the plant known as Bloodthorn. Plans are to make my way to the Tavern to cook Fruit Cakes and Baras, we want to minimize the precious resources of our clan when the time comes that Bloodthorn returns and we have found Baras to be an effective way of reducing the time and resources. Also there is a need to replenish our store houses of Perfected Baras. These last few months have proven to be exhausting on resources as we worked hard to stave off an uprising of a clan in our area that was dead set on making our life hard. Fortunately as it is with any war you tend to make some allies and we have formed a close alliance with another clan in our community. Our hope is that this alliance is the seed to unite the server and show that we would prefer to work with people outside our clan rather than against them.

Meanwhile, the unrest heightens. We heard of an alternate parallel universe called Epona that has killed their own Bloodthron more times that we have, report is from our supernatural agents that they were fortunate to uncover the almost forgot about helmet on one of their first times killing the plant but that since then they have had the same result we have had.

Other notes from the clan we were able to equip some of our clan members that have started to carry the load in weapons forged from the Elder Dragon Lord, some of our long awaited rogues got some nice weapons to reward them for their sleepless nights slaying the beasts in Gelebrons Tower. Today is a rather exciting one for me as a leader of the clan, I get to discuss with my fellow leaders who to distribute these seeds that Bloodthorn leaves behind that allow for their weapons to glean an even greater power that will be used to slay beasts more effectively in the future. I have found these small rewards to be important to keep morale up for my fellow kin.

Whats that, "Okay Praetorian I will be right there!". Well the elders are wanting to begin our deliberations and I must tend to clan business.

These helms are in now game breaking that they should be this rare. Even if you had 60 toons with a royal helm, how much kill time would be reduced? A minute? Maybe 2?

Even if 2 dropped per month, it would still take 2-3 years before everyone got one. By then, better gear is already out. Why even create something that is so rare, it might never drop?

This is a video game. This is sitting on the couch pressing buttons. Comparing drops in a video game to real life items like ferrarris that require people to work their rear ends off for is silly.

Not sure if it is possible to re-seperate the "Still no BT helm" and the "journal log" thread. I intended on doing the journal log as a fun engaging daily journal that might even add some lore to our adventures. By combining it with Still No BT helm it has taken away from that intention.

Heck, i'd settle with a boosted drop rate for just the royal helms. The imperial and godly versions can be the ferraris.

I'm hoping for less entries and more helms...

Nice to see that someone is enjoying the RNG's  or maybe they are just enjoying our reactions to them :-|

This post isn't meant to be hostile to you Difinitus, but your reply was poorly placed. The thread is about player frustration over a key game element, and rather than analyze and comment on our frustration, you said you enjoyed one of the posts and hope to see more...
I'm going to be optimistic and assume you were being genuine and enjoy the journal style for forum posts over the standard rant and argue, but even then it's hard to detach the idea that your reply was just a showcase of the team's disillusionment from player sentiments...
If the latter is the case, and the team isn't really taking feedback and has a harder stance on the drop rates, tell us please. Don't however ignore our pleads and blatantly show it off. I'm being optimistic that it was just a poorly placed reply, however I can't speak for how everyone read the reply...

I agree. Royal Helms should be easier to get. Make Imperials AND Godlys super rare not all of them. Plus seems like it’d be an easy fix with Unity cause we already changed it once sooooo let’s go!

I understand the frustrations, but that is exactly why I moved it into OP's other thread over the same topic. The team knows how the Community feels about drop rates, it's the #1 topic every week on these forums, but right now I don't have any information to share regarding changes.

It is meant to be challenging and extremely rare. Could things in Celtic Heroes be improved? Sure, we're always looking for ways to make the game more enjoyable but increasing the drop rate is not something we're exploring at this time.

Unity Update first, fun stuff and balance changes after.

I think giving what the community what’s is much more appropriate than adding “fun stuff”

The reason this topic is always #1 is for the quite obvious reason that the community needs it. This game is desperate for endgame balance changes. Fun stuff is not going to improve the quality of the game it is just a facade for what it is like at endgame

Fun stuff shouldn’t even be an idea that levels with balance changes in terms of importance

Here’s a new idea.

Unity update, fix the game / balance changes, then the fun stuff
