Sounds like a gem mob. They just drop vendor items like diamonds.

Pureness from a 4*? I don’t think so. What did nuada get from it as a drop??
Also a ring boss? U mean heli?

Sounds like a normal arcane gold mob to me.. thy just drop 7-8k gold and nothing else.
Never heard of one spawning in place of a stoner tho

I doubt it was in place of a stone boss -- I have killed them before (one spawns by Proteus I think), just a regular gold mob. No special drops IIRC.

If you have ever looked at a periodic table you might notice golds symbol is Au this derives from the latin word for gold: aurum. Auric is an extension of the root aurum and therefore I conclude it is a gold mob albeit admittedly oddly placed.
