That’s true.-. But I think they just did reduced window since the code was probably present from the past and it was easier for them to do it for that reason. Maybe in the future they can consider just boosting amount of drops.

Hmmm.. Im pretty sure its same amount of work.

We talked about doing this based on the feedback. It is actually different and more difficult to adjust the drops VS the spawn rates. There a lot more manual processes that go into changing the loot tables to drop specific items more frequently. Additionally, spawn rate events have already been tested, so there's one less area to get wrong. We are definitely looking into these other types of events for the future, but for this month, we're sticking to events that have already been tested and are fairly simple to implement.
