The Ostara hunt is almost here! Lord Maclir has requested the help of Dal Riatas finest hunters and chefs in creating an epic Ostara feast!
Those who have proven their services to the lord will be rewarded greatly.

This two stage competition will be ran over 3 days starting on May 26th at 4:00 PM UTC and ending May 28th at 10:00 PM UTC.
Announcements will be sent out in-game 30 minutes before the competitions begins!

Stage 1- Collect Rabbit Meat! (May 26th 4:00 PM UTC - May 27th 4:00 PM UTC)
Time to hunt! The first stage will track hunters progress as they loot Rabbit Meat around Lirs Reach!
The more you can get the better!

Stage 2 - Cook Exquisite Rabbit Pies! (May 27th 6:00 PM UTC - May 28th 10:00 PM UTC)
Ready, steady, cook! Lord Maclir will only accept the best pies for his feast!
This stage will track your progress in making Exquisite Rabbit Pies, make as many as you can before time runs out!

Only when you actively perform the action of looting a Rabbit Meat or cooking an Exquisite Rabbit Pie, will your total increment on the new Competitions leaderboard between this specific time period, and only during this time.
Buying/Trading will not improve your ranking, nor will having existing Rabbit Meat or Exquisite Rabbit Pies in your backpack.

The leaderboards will display data for all servers so be sure to filter by world on the main page to see your progress.
Also, take note that the leaderboards are slow to update. So don't stop collecting until you receive that final popup saying the competition is over!
You'll never know until the end.

Once complete, we will provide the rewards on each server via in-game mail!

Special prize for top three of all worlds - Culinarians Ladle!

1st Place – Ostara Culinarian Champion's Set (Teal with Demonheart Fire Particle) + Ostara Culinarian Competitor Set (Basic Mauve)

2nd Place – Ostara Culinarian Challenger’s Set (Teal with Lifebloom Particle) + Ostara Culinarian Competitor Set (Basic Mauve)

3rd Place – Ostara Culinarian Contender’s Set (Basic Teal) + Ostara Culinarian Competitor Set (Basic Mauve)

Haha this is how the game gives you a challenge: run and run and run. Boss hunts, competitions, human remains. In the business of joystick-pushing. 2 strangers watched me play this in the subway, one of them commented to the other "it's just run and run".

Will Perfected Rabbit Pies also count towards the total?

Ugh. Not another grinding competition. Why can’t it be a competition where everyone has a chance to get the reward but you do need to put in some but not heaps of effort. It’s just so painful to have competitions when I have so many real life priorities and not as much game time as everyone else.

Exquisite rabbit pies? Ya won’t even try this one, at lvl 178 cooking with only like 250 mastery lol. It’s already obvious that the 3 or 4 cooking freaks with almost maxed mastery will win... a competition with winners before it even started lol

Do we need a specific cooking lvl to be able to cook exquisite rabbit pies?

So it’s one competition combined, so I can’t win by just killing rabbits?
