Make snorri drop crowns only, then shift all loot tables on dl down one boss so snorri loot table on sreng, sreng on 165 165 to 160. Then maybe just maybe if glashtyn drops eggs people might actually kill it and we have 3 bosses with chance to drop crowns. just and idea.
I think I'd cry tears of joy if this happened...

Been camping dragonlord for clan since Carrow's release in 2013. That's going on five years that I'm still camping it for clan. I'm not sure I want to know the number of hours I've put into it. Would love the opportunity to be able to focus on some of the horizontal content and get clan ahead of the curve on quest armor. While the influx new players and members of course means that we'll continue to camp, at least there would be a foreseeable reprieve in urgency until the next round of recruits (for us smaller clans at least). The same can be said for frozen, though for us it has not been as much of a bottleneck as it is on some servers.

At the end of the day CH is a game and a game is supposed to be fun. Camping gigantic windows around the clock is not fun.

Otm have tortured their player base for long enough now, it's time you fix this and the ludicrous bottlenecks; a large portion of the endgame player base are still camping troll 5 years later, how is that ok??

Agree the frozen and DL bottleneck needs to be addressed. I do not understand why this hasn't already happened. Smaller clans are stuck in the sreng/troll/Hrung cycle and can't progress. EG in Gardens is irrelevant to them, why would smaller clans even care about the upcoming update? Why not have frozen and DL drop 1/2/3 items for each 4/5/6 star boss? Also like the idea of shifting loot tables.

It's beyond time to move lock battles from frozen/DL to the tower.

With these changes smaller clans will gradually get to experience Mordy and Necro while the larger clans own Gele and Gardens. Seems like a decient trade off. Otherwise OTM, EG content you continue to release is appreciated by the larger clans while smaller clans continue to miss out on content that has been in the game for years.

I recently started playing again and... nothing has changed unfortunately. It is still hard to get DL for many smaller clans and it is still a dynasty for higher clans. While I have no problems with the higher clans in Morrigan, its still a join or nothing situation.

In regards to the title topic, what would shorter windows do? Higher clans still need the gear anyways and won't that get them to stay dominant for longer periods? As I see it, there is no attainable solution. Any endgame clan won't leave Dl+ alone we add 4-5 stronger armor sets soon, then it'll reduce demand just like frozen.

I am not too familiar with guild wars 2, but I've heard that everyone gets loot regardless. Interclan teamwork is rewarded upon and acknowledged. Instead of a lock system, why not do a damage system?

Ex:
Clan A gets 50% DMG on Boss
Clan B gets 25% DMG on Boss
Clan C gets 10% etc.. etc..

Clan A gets 4 drops
Clan B gets 3 drops
Clan C gets 2 drops

All clans get the same type of loots but Clan A gets more drops. No clan gets staggered, only clan that fails are the ones that don't show up. The only problem with this system that comes to mind is that one clan gets 90% DMG, but that can be fixed by maxing DMG at 50%. Clan A gets 4 drops regardless. If Clan B and C also camped, they also get rewarded if they at least show up on time and do as much DMG as they can.

Why is dl not just changed to be like frozen? Snorri drops only crowns, sreng drops only horns etc...or the idea about snorri dropping only crowns and the loot tables shifting down. I like that idea also

Yes otm, do something about this. I don’t want to join the top clan to get end game gear and I don’t want to spent an eternity waiting for the top clan to die out so my groups of friends and I get that gear.

But what's stopping people from monopolizing Snori and Sreng? Moreso, if none of the higher bosses drops eggs and gems, whats to stop a clan from monopolizing those? If no monopolizing of Ulrob is imminent then won't larger clans just pressure smaller clans because "we can lock Snorri and you can't"!

I hate growing with players only for me to part ways with them cause they feel that the current clan has staggered.
