I'm talking about Ability / Mastery, not Cooking Level

Do I get more exp towards Ability / Mastery level by cooking my highest level requirement dish? or cooking any dish provides same Ability exp?

Cook any dish for ability levels, the higher the dish doesn't matter

Cooking low level dishes that give no cooking xp will create more exquisite and perfected dishes, which, in turn, increases mastery quicker.

One thing, why does the recipe list "resets" ?

For example, I press Cook, wait a while, the cooking bar is almost filled up, and my recipe list at the left resets so I'm sent all the way up of my recipe list, then I have to scroll all the way down to cook a low level, is there a way to avoid such annoying reset?

Nope lol. Just bad design by OTM.
