Enough with the AH BS

We, as in literally everyone (except boymclir) have been asking for commas for ages. Today a clan member got scammed 2.2m buying 8 pet tokens, they were making a rush buy before they had to head off to a boss and only realized after it was too late how much they lost. For reference, 8 pet tokens goes for 240k (30k each) on arawn, they thought they were buying 2 sets of 4 for 111,111 each, but instead bought them for 1,111,111 each.

Every server has reported these scammers, who are taking advantage of a very small oversight and exploiting it to rake in millions.

OTM please please please correct this oversight. Not only does it prevent scamming, but it makes it much easier to look at prices overall.

Please OTM...

1111111 111111 There is a very small pixel difference, it isn't that they can't read its that they skimmed through and thought it was a good deal and made a fast buy. Especially with how OTM crams in numbers in the AH, the pixel difference may be 1 or 2 at the most...

Nothing will change until the next client update. That means we have to go through the beta first, and then wait for Apple approval, so I reckon it's at least another month or more. Then another week of server interruptions and downtime due to unstable server environment brought about by the new zone. You all know the drill.

Add commas. I spend way longer than I should counting numbers and second guessing myself and closing 1 eye to make sure there's not 1 more number than I want to pay.

Maybe OTM's next sneak peak can be of a comma in AH, if we have to wait a month confirmation would be nice. It is such a small detail but it makes the world of a difference.

This is the one thread where everyone can agree on.

 Me too! Super annoying, especially since it was brought to their attention long ago and it still hasn't been corrected.

RIP people that can't read numbers.
It's not that people can't read it's just a trick of the mind. If you see someone say 10,000 without commas it looks like 1000 because of how tiny numbers tend to be and because people are used to 10000 being written with a comma 10,000. Make sense?

This would also be the case with 10000 and 100000, and 100000 and 1000000.

I even have to count my numbers as I type them to make sure that I am selling them for the right price. Which is ridiculous.
