The title covers the question pretty well. In the game you're able to create an account and login to it. What exactly is the point of this? I used to play this game a lot a few years ago, and got back into it a few months ago. I created a new account and got decently far into the game, before having to factory reset my phone. Now I got the game again a few minutes ago, and logged into my old account, but my old character wasn't back like I assumed it would be, forcing me to now start all the way from the beginning.

If creating an account in-game doesn't save your progress/character, and logging in doesn't restore it, then what's the point of the account system at all? Seems fairly useless.

It let me log in perfectly fine. It gave me no errors, and says I'm logged in. So no, it's not the wrong login

You made sure the correct world is selected? I made the same mistake a while ago. The account saves your progress so im guessing you clicked on wrong world or the wrong worlds been automatically selected.

Try to switch servers, many people dont look at the server theyre playing on. because it doesnt always connect u to the right server straight off

Yes it is the server. There is some odd feature in the game that instead of loging you into the world it has you make a new character on another world. It happens to me ever now and then and its a minor inconvenience
