At 50-70k ea is getting the tier 4 level 6 spider worth it? Trying to decide what tier I wanna go with

If nithing else to spend it on then yes but if money is an issue than id only get tier 1-2, teir 4 lvl6 is 6.4m at 50k a token

I'm an arachnophobe. My rogue is sticking with wolf lol. Since everyone else switching to spider I don't have to worry about other ppl over raking me even though only have a tier 1 lvl 6 wolf

Same!!! Like hell if I'm going to have one of those ugly things following me around. I even hate going to kill Spidy.

Worst thing about the wolf is it is a dot and can be over ridden. Spider and dog are a single skill hit so they are far better for locking bosses.

As far as tier goes if you are tier 1 it costs 1/4 as much and the stats and skill damage are 2/3 that of tier 4. You basically pay quadruple for 50% more stats over tier 1.

I tried to do some crude testing on Proteus today and found that the spider tended to hit anywhere from 19-30 percent of its listed damage while the Dog (on lure) was around 13-21 percent of its listed damage. The sample size was small so take this with a grain of salt.

I would guess that the spider tops out at around 1500 on stat page? The dog as we know is about 2300. So i think on the high end they are both hitting around 400-500 at prot (of course with pierce lure). Other bosses clearly the poison has the advantage. Again, this was kind of a ballpark estimation based on a small sample size and on only 1 boss.

Also this is not taking into consideration the stats only was looking at the skill.
