Which pet do you guys think is best for dps rogue on endgame bosses specifically proto?
And if anyone has lvl 6 dog spider or wolf how much dmg does it hit for?

The best pet for damage overall is a spider imo. Pierce is just ridiculously resisted on end game compared to poison. Though Poison skills have a lower max hit its on a lower resistance mob usually. A maxed silver dog with maxed ability is 2.3k pierce damage and -500 defence. On the description.

My spider is 1250 damage ability only 1550

I ended up sticking with dog and have the level 6 silver. I'm pleased with the skill damage with lure on prot. It hits 350 - 500 range with a lure up and the defense debuff is very nice to stack with smoke bomb.

Poison is also resisted on prot but I'm not watching the spider skill damage enough to gauge by how much.

I would not be surprised if given the difference in max damage they are quite similar in actual output on proteus (with pierce lure of course).

Ended up going for spider just because i wont ever have to worry about a lure for it(even if it is kinda useless on necro)

Yea but only one wolf can rake on a boss so for raids the skill is almost pointless

At 50-70k ea is getting the tier 4 level 6 spider worth it? Trying to decide what tier I wanna go with

If you have nothing else to spend it on than sure it's more attack and more skill damage
