Because rings such as Godly Vines have about a .0001% chance of dropping, and it is not reasonable to expect every high-end druid to have one.

And yet you listed a godly touch helm and a 2012 samhain neck and a camo charm? Lol how realistic is that.

I prefer dps over being able to root, it doesn't make a huge difference and if your roots missed ur still screwed.
