Give all EDLs along with prot/gele a faster respawn rate. EDLs should have a faster respawn rate by now anyways
Or just increase rune/ arcane drop rate,_, we have probably like 500+ of each lexi except runes and arcanes lmao

An event for most everyone that includes bosses and timing that gives non-dom clans a chance. Example....hrung, mordy, necro, gele, prot and bt. Timed like this.....mordy and gele spawn at the same time, necro and prot spawn together, and hrung and bt spawn together. That way a desirable higher boss spawns with a lower lvl one, giving dom clans a boss they want while non-dom clans can take the other boss spawning at the same time. There will likely be some dom clans who try to take down the lower lvl boss first thinking the non-dom clan can't take out the higher one so the dom clan would get both, but that kind of asshattedness can't be controlled I guess.
In theory that sounds nice, but would this not result in a situation where dom clan would quickly kill off the minor boss and then move to big boss?

I think the best medicine on dom servers would be to make boss spawns much more random, and make established (non event) bosses also appear on unusual locations.
You make a good point, and the solution you put forth would make for a very exciting fun event.
I don’t think an event of camping makes a good event.

+1, wish all raids had set timers that rotated through timezones like prot, this game would be so much better without the heavy camping aspect.

215 6s should spawn more often + drops rate for arcane and runes should be increased.

BT and Gele
I can’t imagine anything worse than those two bosses for an event - too much to kill.

I think this comment is based on your server. I know the two servers I play on would love an increased spawn event if BT and GELE. If spawn was reduced for these two to once every 24 hours for a week and if Prot was reduced to once every 5 hours it would be quite a fun event.

Dino is still too new and the servers that are killing him are only killing once or twice a week as it is so no need at the moment for an event with Dino, unless the event was to remove the orbs for a month ;).
Yeah, it doesnt have to be every 6 hours, once every 24 hours for a week would be nice

You may not be able to benefit from it as much as some other servers could but you would still benefit nonetheless

I mean if the spawns are completely random, and nobody knows when and where. A Proteus appearing in Shalemont Ravine for example.

I think it comes down to exactly how random they are. If there are 30+ different places the bosses could spawn, and it would be a random boss each time, it could theoretically work...but it would likely get to the point where players are just constantly roaming the maps looking for bosses, which is essentially mobile camping. Granted, that isn't as boring as normal camping, but will probably end up being more frustrating.

Depends on your server.

I can tell you that on Sulis people would spent the entire time searching / camping for raids.

Is there a Bloodthorn and Prot/Necro option?

Years ago, back before camping and timers, was the most fun and exciting bossing imo. Knowing when a boss will be up and being there ready, or planning a raid and deciding when it's starting and who will participate has its benefits for sure, but to me it just doesn't beat the excitement we used to feel when you're running along in an area and just happen upon a big boss you weren't expecting there. It was so much fun to try to hurriedly get your clan there, or even just yell to get people nearby to come take it down together. That was the best.

An event that is totally random...all bosses from mordy (or even aggy) up to bt bosses spawning at random intervals and in a different area each time they spawn would be as close as we could get to the excitement the game used to have. If people chose to mobile camp they would still likely miss some spawns and be surprised by others, and at least it would be break up the monotony of regular camping. Would probably have more people playing rather than just hopping on when the timer goes off too.
