If America does Month/Day/Year why is it 4th of July and not July 4th

Because it sounds better! Holidays should always be different than regular days lol.
Now that I think about it I hope a firework doesn’t shoot into my garage again... good times.

No offense to the Brits in the room but I do find it kinda hilarious that like half the countries in the world have a "no longer a part of Britain" holiday
