We are going to do our first attempt on nuada soon.

I have a reoccurring question coming to me, some people are saying we shouldn't use EDL aura because it is resist to chaos and dino is deadly on chaos. Can someone confirm this isn't the case?

I know someone that tested saying they received less damage without aura.

In other words, does EDL aura increase your DMG received from dino?

You take less damage without EDL aura from my personal testing. Which helps on adds, but I wouldn’t forego it for the boss. It really is a negligible difference from a tanks standpoint.

Not from anything I’ve seen, I wear occult but from beta and live I haven’t seen anything that would suggest this to be the case, even for the main tank which receives the majority of the damage.

For melee, best armor choice is:
DG
edl
Dl

For casters, best armor choice is
Full DG
DG BP and occult/ancient beast bone
Occult and ancient beast bone
Occult and beast bone
Alchemical and ancient beast bone
Alchemical and beast bone
EDL
DL
