Throughout the fishing levels, there are various broths that you can “cook” if you provide the ingredients to the right fisherman. They are all relatively cheap with the last two having huge jumps in cost. In Murky Vaults, you can cook a Deep Sea Broth from conger eel (somewhat rare) and an 800g saffron. In Carriw, Cavernous Broth requires the same saffron but also a King Angler that vendors for 4050g. Did OTM miss the mark? Should this have been two electric eels and a regular angler? The cost is prohibitive compared to the bump in fishing power and concentration regeneration.

Yes, they missed the mark. No one in their right mind would use king anglers to make a broth that provides a miniscule boost over the previous tier, which can be made at a fraction of the cost.

Just use murky broth, add a few fish power rings and you are set! The kings are still semi rare but if you are patient you can make decent gold by vendoring them. Happy fishing!
