I joined my first event boss (210 lvl) fight yesterday, and even though I am grateful for winning the drop, I was surprised by the announcement of new dicing rules, as there has been no forum discussion or vote on the matter.

As far as I could understand, the unofficial new rule now is as follows:

All may dice for Stonebark items

Only casters may dice for Shriverwood and Spiritseed items

Melee (incl Rangers) may dice for Bladeleaf, Stormleaf, Bloodthorn, Frostroot, Ironroot


Is it as simple as that, or is Ironroot reserved Warriors, Bloodthorn reserved Rogues etc?

This would be good to have decided by vote and with written and transparrent rules, as even yesterdays DM seemed uncertain about the new, unofficial rules.

I for one would rather have everybody legible for fight allowed to dice for everything. This worked fine last year, and many players now have partial Garanak sets that they may complete this event. I had no trouble trading drops last year, and I can see no reason why it should be a problem this year.

The Continuous progression of
"The Domineering Clan" spoiling Our
Peaceful Server, is gaining speed.

We, (players who are opposed to a Dom
Lugh server) dicussed & predicted,
yet another "out of ordinary" occurance,
which we felt we would have to brace
ourselves for, upon the release of this
Summer Event update.
And we were right.
 
Their next step towards their *Dom Lugh*
                 "because THEY say so"
                                 IS:
     ***No one in Clan Virus is allowed to
          Roll or Win any Drops***

For instance:
One of our Clan members, was the only
Player outside of this Clan to roll on
a Purple Arcane.  At the roll area, a
merging member of Dom Clan asked
if our member was "the only player out
of their clan"? Whom attended this fight.
The answer was "yes", The Chief of This Clan proceeded to say "ok no rolls" and that
Purple Arcane was kept by this Dom Clan.
Another DENIED roll & or Drop NOT
given to an Eligible player,
Controlled by This Dom Clan,
Just because "THEY say so".

Another example of the Persistant, Persuing Dominance & complete TakeOver, happened
just days ago, when a Spokesperson from
The Dom Clan approached a General of Clan
Virus.
During this conversation, demanding ideas were mentioned to My General.
He used Controlling ways of speech,
leading to ordering my General to
Dismantle Clan Virus.
Of course, that demand was denied.
This type of Extortion may be effective
on much younger players, or on
players who simply have no clue as to
what is happening to Lugh.
These types of Demands, coming
from a long time player, being put in
that Tone to My General, who also happens
to be a Long Time player of Lugh, certainly
was not, nor ever will be Obeyed.

A long time player of Lugh, returned to
game yesterday.  He approached me
& asked what is going on in Lugh ? ....
He was confused because he was told
by This Dom Clan that,
"the only way he would get dl/edl
Gear was if he joined Their Clan".
Just another example of extortion.

Occurances Derk, as the one you have
described in your Post, are just One of
The many Rule Changes made by This
Dom Clan Just Because:
                  **THEY say so**
No more "let's all vote on Rules" etc.

Prepare yourselves.

I'm new player should I be concerned that I joined this server. I joined because I read that this was a friendly server. Me being new and all that sounded nice. However I'm reading more and more about how not so nice this server is becoming. As new player am I wasting my time with this server?

Lugh has changed a lot

what's this supposed to mean?

i stand up for what i believe in and for what's right. to see people who couldn't have got to where they are today turn their backs on those that helped them along the way is sickening. respect goes a long way, and being an honorable and decent person goes a long way in life. i have no respect for the people that think they are above all others and better than the older, wiser players that paved the way for them.

when i was born into lugh, everyone regardless of lvl, age, hair color, etc were treated as equals and given fair chances in every aspect of the game. there are still good people in this world. a lot of good people who don't want to see this type of behavior plague their world. my suggestion is that these players of said clan think long and hard about what has gone on in the past few months and make a decision to make everything right.
