I'm at 1100+ proficiency. It does nothing to help high lvl cooking. You still need to use extracts every time. I do train just proficiency though. Once your past 181 it gets mind numbingly slow to lix unless ur cooking high lvl fish abd those cost 800 gold per item for saffron and 80 gold per item ...

I doubt all the items have the same drop rate. Or if nothing else, they changed the drop rates. Im sure they understood the game enough to know that the 300 elemental damage brace would be highly desired. And accordingly made it much rarer than others. The 20% is probably for the fishing ability, even at 202 with 624 power and over 3020 fish ability I still pull a fish too long even the low level ones. I guess that will alleviate that. Fishing sets? Fishing fashion? What type of bonus? Apparently there is a resist fish for resistances according to the new bracer. I don’t understand why it’s a mob drop, trade the bracer to fishing and give the crit rings to mobs is what I would rather have done.
