Yes it is the server. There is some odd feature in the game that instead of loging you into the world it has you make a new character on another world. It happens to me ever now and then and its a minor inconvenience

Level lock has a purpose for the bosses that are not endgame, but the final bosses gele and prot should probably not have a level lock untill new endgame bosses sre released

Sounds like the leaders are using you and every clansman/recruit. Yea seasonal events would be great to fill in gaps while otm is figuring out what they want to do for their next big content areas.
