I always found that typically anything your own level and up to 3 above was optimal for xp gain vs time to kill.
Of course there are times when you run out of mobs and need to go to some 4 above but any higher just slows you down....unless in a big group then go a bit higher.

It's no surprise really, plat buyers have to spend real money so of course most will try to get as much gold for that money as possible. If people stop paying silly prices for things then the prices will drop. Complaining about prices shooting up then aiding that by spending 10k each for heroic xps ...

Generally they are going for around 50-65k each on Epona.

I haven't fished a whole lot just ranked my main up to fishing level 110 and didn't see a single pet or mount tokens.. .at least doing bounties you are guaranteed one bottom tier token. 25 of these can be exchanged for a purple token which can in turn be used to buy a pet or mount.

Other than buying from other players they are available from (seasonal event [cough cough]) chests or from rare drops from lock boxes acquired by fishing.
Pets and mounts can also be bought with purple tokens from the bounty system, although this method is incredibly slow.

Before throwing in sarcy comments educate yourself on a) Celtic Mythology, and b) Medieval Philosophy. Ovens, like those, are used for smithing... Not cooking. Educate yourself, their main use was for flat breads and I suppose you believe whilst smelting iron they also flew around on magical sticks...

Unless we can cook jewellery, armour or weapons it's just more useless content like fishing that helps in no way with the endless camping and the frustration it causes.
