If the game includes more gold sinks(shops,luxs), gold would be more valued. But if there was more inflation (occurs most of the time), your gold would be valued less

What if you go fishing and from the lock boxes you get platinum to use for buying stuff? Ik that would take years to get enough platinum to be useful enough
