After reading alot on forum feels like it, main issue is no competition = no power, but still there are gearing requirements of eg boss in this server.

And most casual player join this server to relax, you can say least powerful but great for causal who want to start.

After reading your post I can feel that top clan can do that, that why people like epona because of no clan system free world. The answer is merge the 3 clan to compete with top rather then trying solo clan to beat top clan. That will work slowly.

Depend on you gear spell items usage,
Fire mage with extra points in e shield and combo exlier or energy/exp/health exiled with few restore potion should be fine if you opponent are 2-3 level higher then you. How you are leveling ? Which build and gear.
